What are European Cascade Funding Grants?
European Cascade Funding Grants are European funds provided through projects that have already received funding from the European Commission through European calls for proposals.
European Cascade Funding Grants provide non-repayable contributions, with percentages that can range from 50% to 100% (often in the form of vouchers), which are disbursed for:
- Development of innovative solutions.
- Development of pilot projects.
- Implementation of technological solutions that utilize components developed by the ‘parent’ project.

FUTURESILIENCE Grant

A funding opportunity open to anyone looking to enhance the preparedness and resilience of organizations, communities, and territories to mitigate the impact of potential negative events.
The goal is to apply existing solutions and develop new ones to better address issues related to the environment, agriculture, health, mobility, urban development, welfare, and industry.

UTTER Project: Unified Transcription and Translation for Extended Reality

What does it fund?
The purpose of this grant is to develop and/or test applications of Extended Reality (XR) models in new sectors, with a particular focus on new types of interaction between humans and between humans and machines.
Submitted projects can have objectives such as improving or demonstrating the efficiency of XR model inference and training; designing interfaces for usability; extending XR models to new languages, domains, or modalities…

Up to €60,000 in 100% non-repayable funds.

Co-create NEB Cascade Funding

What does it fund?
This grant is aimed at long-term solution development projects in line with the New European Bauhaus initiative (NEB).
The goal is to demonstrate new solutions to enhance the transformation of rural and peri-urban areas, address the needs of territories and communities, and shift value chains and material life towards circularity.

Up to €46,000 in 100% non-repayable funds for each consortium consisting of two partners.

SMEs/Innowwide Eureka Funding

What does it fund?
This grant is open to innovative SMEs looking to export their business and research activities to international markets.
The funding can be used to conduct market feasibility studies for innovative projects, and it is also possible to initiate 6-month collaboration projects with partners located in a selected target area.

Up to €60,000 with a 70% non-repayable component.

STAGE Cascade Funding

What does it fund?
This grant provides financial incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises to support their transition towards sustainability.
The funds can be used to cover the costs of developing an investment plan and any related additional services (feasibility study, technological audit, data collection and analysis for carbon emissions assessment, prototyping, pilot testing, etc.).

Up to €50,000 in 100% non-repayable funds, to be used for services provided by consultants selected by STAGE.

SURE5.0

What does it fund?
The SURE 5.0 project supports small and medium-sized enterprises by providing personalized assistance to make their production processes more sustainable, resilient, and human-oriented.
Eligible for the grant are SMEs operating in the Mobility, Transport, and Automotive (MTA) sectors, the Aerospace and Defense sector, and Electronic Manufacturing

POLREC Cascade Funding

What does it fund?
The grant supports projects in chemical, mechanical recycling, and the digitization of recycling processes. The goal is to demonstrate solutions that contribute to reducing CO2 emissions through the recycling of plastic or rubber materials and the reduction of polymer incineration and/or landfilling.
SMEs operating in the sectors of transportation and mobility, construction, renewable energy, digitalization and electronics, healthcare, consumer goods, industrial packaging, and food are eligible to participate in the grant.

FORWARDS

What does it fund?
The FORWARDS grant focuses on the restoration and sustainability of European forests.
The goal is to prototype the ForestWard Observatory, a pan-European monitoring tool for the sustainable management of forests, and to establish pilot projects to test new and/or existing Climate-Smart-Forestry (CSF) practices, mitigate the effects of climate change, and restore biodiversity.
