Block.IS The Block.IS External Challenges will organise 2 challenges.

In each challenge 8 teams will be selected to compete for 3 event vouchers to the final event of €1 000 and a prize of €12 000 to be awarded in to the best concept.

During the competition the teams will need to develop a concept on how blockchain can be used to tackle the challenge proposed. Block.IS project will provide technical and business mentors to support the teams selected to participate in the final event.

 inDemand-RCT This call consists of some 14 technological challenges related to business innovation, digitalisation and response to covid19 identified by large/tractor companies located in the Murcia region.

NGI Assure NGI Assure shall contribute towards identifying and solving current issues, but do not need to provide a complete solution by themselves (although they may). NGI Assure strengthens the means we have for collaboration among all humans, replacing assumptions and potentially unjustified trust with uncompromising safeguards and verifiability where possible.

The following types of activities qualify for financial support, provided they are cost effective and have a clear link to the topics directly relevant to NGI Assure mentioned above – providing – and the objectives set out in the call:

  • scientific research
  • design and development of open source software and open hardware
  • validation or constructive inquiry into existing or novel technical solutions
  • software engineering aimed at adapting to new usage areas or improving software quality

GALATEA The target audience of the GALATEA Innovation Support Mechanism Voucher Call 2 are innovative European SMEs from the Maritime (port, ship, shipyard, maritime surveillance), ICT, Aerospatial, Aeronautic sectors wishing to submit proposals related to Blue Growth.

 I-NERGY will select 10 bottom-up projects for the Technology Transfer Programme I, who will receive up to €50 000 for the execution of the project and take part in a 6 months support programme.

The scope of the programme is:

Building blocks and applications for new AI algorithms/services and small-scale experiments (prototypes) using own resources (modules, models and components) in order to address the developments and implementation of technology and systems applicable to specific cross-sectorial Challenges within the Energy sector for the purpose of enriching the AI resources and tools catalogue for Energy on Europe’s AI-on-demand platform AI4EU.

SMART4ALL

Beneficiaries: Consortia composed of three different entities from at least two different countries including one Academic/Industrial partner who acts as a Technology Provider and an Industrial partner acting as a Technology Receiver.

Support will be given to hree types of experiments:

  • Knowledge Transfer Experiments (KTE), which comprise a novel type of internship experiments allowing smaller projects, or less mature ideas to be presented, tested and thus potentially find the fertile ground to grow and reveal its product potentials;
  • Focused Technology Transfer Experiments (FTTEs), focusing on one of the four defined underrepresented areas, will give the opportunity to form synergies, accelerate product orient projects and offer guidance towards successful commercialisation;
  • Cross-domain Technology Transfer Experiments (CTTEs), targeting to more complex multidisciplinary transfers and productization of novel CLEC CPS and the IoT technologies to wider markets.
