EIC Accelerator Program: Here are all the changes<\/h2>\n

News has emerged recently that the European Innovation Council has introduced some important changes<\/strong><\/span> to its EIC Accelerator Program funding program.<\/strong><\/span> The aim of these modifications is to make the funding application process for startups and scale-ups more efficient and user-friendly. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here are all the changes explained:<\/span><\/p>\n

Pre-proposal<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Full-proposal<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Temporary suspension of the Pre-Proposal phase<\/h3>\n

The first phase of the funding application process (the Pre-Proposal) is temporarily suspended. The application platform will be accessible again starting in July, which means that it will not be possible to submit the Pre-Proposal for your project until then<\/strong><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, a 10-page pitch and a maximum 3-minute video pitch will still be required.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a>Full Proposal: New template<\/h3>\n

Once approval for the Pre-Proposal is obtained, the Full Proposal for the project can be submitted. The new template will be similar to the current one but with some important modifications. <\/span><\/p>\n

The new model will be available in a fully editable PDF format and will have a maximum length of 50 pages<\/strong><\/span> (to be allocated freely). The AI-supported online platform will no longer be available.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Full Proposal will consist of two sections:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      \n
    1. The first part will present a business case for the sector of interest, structured as follows::\u00a0<\/span>\n
        \n
      1. company\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. problem,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. solution,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. market analysis,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. commercial plan,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. team,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      7. risk plan,<\/span><\/li>\n
      8. financial plan.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      9. The second part will contain specific information about the funding request (implementation, funding request, impact, etc.).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

           <\/p>\n

          It will also be necessary to submit two Excel files:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Financial Information and Budget<\/span>: This section includes the old income statement, more details on project costs and investments, and the project’s budget (for the funding part) according to the standard format of Horizon Europe.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Mandatory data and consent<\/span>: This section includes the information that is typically included in Part A, along with a summary of the funding and capital requested.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Similarly to the previous version, the following will also be required:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
              \n
            • Pitch in free format<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Data management plan (if applicable)<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Support letters (if applicable)<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Freedom to operate analysis<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Additional documents in a free format<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
